Modern-day Salt Production
With the establishment of Pimai Salt Co., Ltd.’s salt plant, the harmful effects on the environment posed by traditional salt production are crafully avoided. PSC. as a pioneer in modern salt production, applies state-of-the-art technology from Europe for both its solution mining and salt production. In modern salt production technology, everything is strictly controlled and monitored. The drilling of brine wells and rock mechanical testing, for proper cavern design, are technically achieved for maximum salt recovery and greater cavern stability. Soil contamination is also prevented through pure vacuum crystallization of salt. By adhering to stringent quality standard, ISO 9002 certification granted by TUV CERT Rheinisch-Westfalischer TUV e.V since 1999, PSC is able to offer premium quality industrial and edible salt with over 99.9% purity and a guaranteed minimum moisture content of less than 2.5 and 0.1 per cent respectively. |
