From Beginning to Present

In 1978, 25 years ago, Jutha Wan Metal Limited was established to import and distribute stainless steels and die & mould-tool steels. The first office was located on Mahapruttaram Road with just a few staff. Since then, the company has experienced rapid growth and is continuing to increase capital, business range, variety of products as well as investment in service businesses relating to our products to fully satisfy customer needs.

1978	Jutha Wan Metal Ltd. established with initial registered capital of Bt 4million to distribute stainless steels and die & mould-tool steels.
1982	Expanded product lines, began distribution of high carbon steel and alloyed steel for autoparts & machinery use.
1988	Increased capital to Bt 30 million and began to distribute steel for plastic injection moulds.
1989	Moved the office from Mahapruttaram Rd. to Pinthong Building, 39/9 Rama III Rd. and increased capital to Bt 41 million. Built new factory on a 5 rai area in Soi Wat Mahawong, Poochaosamingprai Rd., South Samrong.
1990	Joint venture investment in S.K.J. Metal Industries Company Limited at Bangpoo Industrial Estate to produce cold-drawn stainless steel round bars/wires with Sanyo Special Steel Co., Ltd. and Kanematsu Corporation.
1991	Capital increased to Bt 68 million.
1992	Capital increased to Bt 150 million.
1993	Second factory and warehouse built on 10 rai at Wellgrow Industrial Estate for alloyed steel for die & mould and high carbon & machinery steel for automobile parts and machine parts.
1994	Established Jutha Wan Metal Lab Ltd. at Wellgrow Industrial Estate to provide heat treatment services for punches, dies and moulds, components and parts by Vacuum Furnace and Atmosphere Control Furnace.
1995	Established Pinthong Industrial Estate at Sriracha for land sales and mini factory rental through a joint venture with Pinthong Holding Co., Ltd. Formed Architect Metal Work Co., Ltd. for manufacturing, design and installation of stainless steel interior decoration for office buildings, hotels, department stores, etc.
1996	Increased capital to Bt 250 million. Formed Futaba JTW (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at Wellgrow Industrial Estate to produce Precision Plate, Mould Bases, Die Set, MG Guide and components through a joint venture with Futaba Corporation, Japan.
1997	Capital increased to Bt 325 million. Formed Juthawan Molitec (Thailand) Co., Ltd., located at Wellgrow Industrial Estate to manufacture spring cord reels for electric rice cookers through a joint venture with Molitec Steel Co., Ltd., Japan.
2002	Started Sriracha Sale Office & Factory (area 12 rai) at Pinthong Industrial Estate in Sriracha, Chonburi for stainless steel Coil Centre and carbon steel, alloyed steel and tool steel, etc. to serve customers in the Eastern Seaboard area.
2003	Started Sale Office & Factory (area 7 rai) on Rama II Road, Bangkradee for stainless and alloyed steel for dies & moulds, etc. to serve customers in the southern parts of Thailand.
