On October 21, 1983, the first company of Ubis Group was founded. The Company has grown from a mere few people to now 200 people in the group. Ubis Group consists of three companies in Thailand and two companies in China and the Philippines.

Ubis (Asia) Ltd. manufactures Sealing Compounds and Coatings for the cans and closures. The factory is in Sampran, 50 km. from the center of Bangkok. The factory produces a wide range of products - water based sealing compounds, PVC plastisol, inside and outside lacquers/coatings for cans and caps/closures. The factory has been certified ISO 9002 since 1998 and ISO 9001:2000 since September 28, 2003.

Ubis (1983) Ltd. supplies chemicals and systems to the construction industry. The company’s range of products includes special additives for concrete, for cement based products; water proofing system - be it bituminous sheet system from “Ruberoid” or “Vitakote” liquid cast-in-place membrane system, for buildings, water tanks and infrastructures; Scaffolding and Form Work from “SGB”. The company supplies international standard products and services by forming strategic alliances with top companies overseas. The products are produced under ISO 9001:2000 standard at the Sampran factory.

Ubau (Thailand) Ltd. manufactures ready-to-use cement based products for the construction industry.  The company is a joint venture with Target Products Ltd., Canada - a well known Canadian company in this field. The factory is in Nakornprathom, about 65 km. from Bangkok. Advanced process technology is used to produce products such as dry bag concrete, masonry mortar and plaster, high-strength non-shrink grouts, floor screed, shotcrete, structural repair mortars and other construction products.

The subsidiary company in China was established in 1997 and the one in the Philippines was established in 2002 who sell the products exported from the factories in Thailand. Ubis Group maintains the agents and distributors in various countries throughout Asia and around the world.
